Managing critically ill cases in the PICU, including initial stabilization and resuscitation of traumatic brain injury, polytrauma, severe pneumonia with ARDS, severe dengue, severe sepsis and shock acute liver failure, acute kidney injury, hematooncologic emergencies and neurological emergencies.
Received training in advanced ventilation techniques and managing patients requiring mechanical ventilatory support, including the utilization of HFOV and APRV.
Additionally, trained in managing children with neuromuscular weakness necessitating long-term ventilation, both invasive and non-invasive.
Experienced in managing cases as part of a team, specializing in advanced life support techniques such as RRT and ECMO.
Proficient in performing paediatric procedures such as IV cannulation and intubation (nasal and oral).
Expert in procedures such as lumbar punctures, bone marrow aspiration and biopsy and in providing procedural sedation for procedures like bronchoscopy, renal biopsy, bone marrow studies etc.
Trained and experienced in transporting critically ill child via ambulance
Trained for USG guided iv cannulation, central line insertion, invasive arterial line insertion, HD catheters, PICC Line insertion, ICD insertion, Pigtail Catheter Insertion.
